About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Pebblebit (“Pebblebit”, “we”, “us”). They apply to this website and to every product and service listed on our products page (together, the “Services”). A product may add specific terms on its own website; if they conflict with these terms, the product’s terms apply to that product.

By using the Services or making a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Using the Services

You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live, and at least 18 to make a purchase. Give us accurate information, keep any login details secure and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account.

Purchases and payment

• We show the price and currency before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• A one-time purchase gives you the item or result described at checkout, for your personal or internal business use.
• A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. We remind you before an annual renewal.
• If we change a subscription price, we tell you at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel at any time using the link in your receipt email, in your account where the product has one, or by writing to support@pebblebit.com. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Right of withdrawal (EU and UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason.

• Digital content, such as a file or result delivered immediately: before you pay, we ask for your express consent to receive it straight away and your acknowledgement that you then lose the right of withdrawal. We confirm both in your receipt email.
• Digital services, such as a subscription: if you ask us to start during the withdrawal period and then withdraw, you pay only for the part of the service provided up to that point.

To withdraw, use the withdrawal function provided in the product or email support@pebblebit.com with your order details. We confirm receipt and refund any amount due within 14 days, using your original payment method.

Your content

You keep ownership of the files and text you submit. You allow us to host, process and transmit them only as needed to provide the Services to you, and to keep them for the periods described in our privacy policy. You confirm that you have the right to submit the content, and that it does not break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights.

AI features

Some products use AI models to produce results. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, so review it before you rely on it. It is not professional, legal, medical or financial advice. We label AI-generated output where the product produces it.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• use the Services for anything unlawful, harmful, deceptive or infringing;
• submit content about other people without the right to do so;
• try to break, overload, probe or bypass the security or usage limits of the Services;
• copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the Services without our written permission.

We may suspend access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Our software and brand

The Services, including their software, design and the Pebblebit name and logo, belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them under these terms. Nothing else is transferred to you.

Changes and availability

We improve our products continuously and may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid product, we give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid, unused part of a subscription. Third-party services we rely on, such as Stripe, are governed by their own terms.

Warranties and liability

We provide the Services with reasonable care and skill. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, they are provided “as is”. If you are a consumer, you keep all rights the law gives you, including rights when digital content or services are faulty or not as described.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service concerned in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Pebblebit’s operator is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.

If something goes wrong, please contact support@pebblebit.com first. Most problems are solved quickly that way.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change is significant, we tell affected customers in advance by email or in the product. For subscriptions, significant changes apply from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
